I am back from Alaska and we are ready to ship the salmon that Tyson and I caught, complete with special boxes literally from just our boat, and with a discount code to boot!
We’re really proud of the quality of the fish we caught this year, and I am stoked that I’ll have the chance to share it with you.
We are working through the Yakobi Fisheries cooperative, out of Pelican, AK. This group coordinates the efforts of small-scale, family fishing operations to bring sustainable seafood to your door.
Mostly Tyson and I caught coho (silver) salmon and keta (chum) salmon. Both were pressure bled, a special process that removes all blood from the fish, leaving them cleaner tasting, firmer and with no smell.
If you buy the “Hank Box,” you get:
11 pounds of portioned coho salmon fillets
3 pounds of portioned keta salmon fillets
1 pound of coho salmon collars
3 pounds of coho salmon burger
All the fish is blast frozen and vacuum sealed in heavy vac bags.
Cost is $280 all-in: so yeah, free shipping. If you use the discount code HANKONDECK, you will get an additional 15% off the price, but ONLY until October 20th.
There are limited numbers of these boxes, so act fast. The fish starts shipping in October, and can be done FedEx or via Air Cargo. Yakobi will work with you for shipping scheduling.
All this said, the HANKONDECK coupon code also works with anything else on the Yakobi Fisheries store, which includes everything from halibut and lingcod, to other kinds of salmon (including king), black cod and even smoked salmon in jars.
If the $280 is too much for just you, talk to your friends, co-workers and neighbors to share a box!
And if you want to buy big, like way more than a box or two, we can work out an even larger discount.
Thanks in advance for your support. And if you’ve bought from Yakobi before, let me know in the comments how your experience was!
I’m so stoked for this. My wife and I were just talking about how we needed to reload our freezer. Thanks, hank!
Good morning, Hank. Tried using the coupon code on a "build your own box" order, and it gave me a message that the coupon code is invalid. Any ideas?
