Because I’m a nerd, I have created a California Wingshooter’s Calendar that puts literally 25+ pages of state regulations for birds (and squirrels and rabbits, too) into one PDF. The Wingshooter’s Calendar can be stored on your phone for easy reference in the field, or you can take it to Fedex/Kinko’s and have it printed as a 16x20 poster.
I recognize that this is going to be of value only to our California subscribers who are wingshooters. But I didn’t want to pass up on an opportunity to provide something of value to at least some of the paid subscribers who make To The Bone possible. (Don’t worry, we also periodically offer broader benefits, starting with exclusive content like our detailed guide to hunting burn morels, but also including special deals on our cookbooks.)
To receive a free copy of the Wingshooter’s Calendar, please leave a comment below saying you’d like one, and I’ll have one sent to you. If you’re a free subscriber, simply upgrade to a paid subscription, then leave a comment here.
The Wingshooter’s Calendar costs $5, and a paid To The Bone subscription costs $5 per month, so if you subscribe now to get the calendar, you’re essentially getting your first month of To The Bone free.
Thanks for subscribing! Sharing our experiences with you, and then engaging in thoughtful conversations about them, has been a highlight of our year.
That's great. P.S. Never start any sentence with "Because I'm a nerd". Every time one of my college students said that, I asked why they were apologizing for being interesting. 😂
Looks awesome. I’d love one. Speaking as a fellow nerd with a life organized by spreadsheet. Thanks for putting this together.
